InterAct might not be donning a cap and gown, but we are having a ceremony of our own this Thursday at 7 pm at West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church. We will be celebrating our successes and recognizing those individuals who let the "Love Shine Through." Please join us, and please wear your brightest clothes!
Also, we would like to draw
your attention to two
individuals who have graced us with their presence this past year, Mary
Drummer
and Kirsten McClain. If you were with us at the Homeless Stand Down you
might
have noticed these two leading the volunteer recruitment and donations
portion
of InterAct’s signature event. They also were exemplary
assets with the
Community Meals Program and with other event planning. While we are
reluctant
to let them leave, we are confident that they have bright futures
ahead of
them. In the end change happens, and we can only hope that like the
class of
2010 we will open ourselves to the possibilities and move forward with enthusiasm.
